Volleyball Recap: Freedom Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Alpha Academy

Freedom Christian Academy won the last time they faced Alpha Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Timberwolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

While Freedom Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-22, 25-20.

Liam Smith paced Freedom Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Jake Lawson and his 12 assists. Stephen Hurley controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

The win got Freedom Christian Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Alpha Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Freedom Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fayetteville Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Alpha Academy, they will be playing at home against Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
