Basketball Game Preview: Madill Wildcats vs. Plainview Indians

The Madill Wildcats will face off against the Plainview Indians at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Madill took on Ada on Saturday. Madill took a hard 67-48 fall against Ada. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Plainview made easy work of Tuttle on Saturday and carried off a 66-45 victory. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Tigers are ranked 303rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Madill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Madill beat Plainview 48-35 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Madill repeat their success, or does Plainview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
