Baseball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Augusta's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder on Tuesday. If the Beavers were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Thunder when the teams met back in May of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Osseo-Fairchild, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Augusta is set to take on their familiar foe Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Osseo-Fairchild will face off against rival Independence/Gilmanton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
