Baseball Recap: Laughlin Comes Up Short

Laughlin fell victim to Needles and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 16-0. The defeat leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

Laughlin's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Needles, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6-1.

Laughlin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Indian Springs on the 4th. As for Needles, they will look to defend their home field on the 11th against Lake Mead Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m.
