Softball Recap: Montgomery Comes Up Short

Montgomery managed to slip by Logansport the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Montgomery lost 13-3 to Logansport on Tuesday. Montgomery was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Logansport apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Montgomery and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Logansport, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Montgomery Tigers take on Converse Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Logansport, they will square off against LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
