Volleyball Game Preview: McCracken County Mustangs vs. Carlisle County Comets

After both having extra time off, the McCracken County Mustangs and the Carlisle County Comets will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:20 p.m. on Monday. McCracken County will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, McCracken County made easy work of Community Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Carlisle County didn't have quite enough to beat Hickman County on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Carlisle County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 16-12. As for McCracken County, their win bumped their record up to 25-6.

Everything went McCracken County's way against Carlisle County in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as McCracken County made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
