Robertson is 10-0 against Santa Fe Prep since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Robertson Cardinals will face off against the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Robertson is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. The contest between them and Santa Fe Indian didn't end well, with Robertson falling 68-54.

Despite their defeat, Robertson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Nathan Gonzales, who went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Gonzales, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against St. Michael's, falling 70-39. While losing is never fun, the Blue Griffins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Horsemen are ranked 11th).

Santa Fe Prep now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Robertson, their defeat ended a 17-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-4.

Robertson took their win against Santa Fe Prep in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 70-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Robertson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
