The matchup between Prairie View and Girard on Friday hardly resembled the 21-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Prairie View Buffalos blew past the Girard Trojans, posting a 49-14 win at home. The Buffalos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Parker Schwarz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception. Josh Goodwin was another major influence, as he rushed for 51 yards and ran in a TD.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Prairie View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 338 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards in 17 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Prairie View knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Iola likes a good challenge. As for Girard, they will welcome Anderson County on Friday. Girard is facing Anderson County at the right time seeing as Anderson County is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
