Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beauregard). They put the hurt on the Valley Rams with a sharp 16-3 victory on Thursday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Beauregard's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Beauregard is taking a road trip to challenge Elmore County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russell County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
