Jamarae Lamb Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Friday, Wallace-Rose Hill had to settle for second even though Jamarae Lamb put up the best numbers he has all season. Lamb rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (109.9). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

If the past is any indication, Lamb could be in store for another big game when he takes on Kinston on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lamb saw the Vikings), he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.

Eli Avent was instrumental in extending James Kenan's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Avent as he threw for 210 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Avent has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 123.2 passing yards per game.
