Baseball Recap: Massaponax Takes a Loss

Massaponax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Colonial Forge Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Massaponax saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Bateman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Massaponax's record is now 1-10. As for Colonial Forge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Massaponax will face off against rival Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colonial Forge is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
