Bloomfield hit Pembroke with a five-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Dragons fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 7-6. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Jacob Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Jayden Bridge was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Pembroke's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Bloomfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Pembroke does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield, they will challenge Geneseo at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Bombers surely won't give up without a fight.
