Football Game Preview: Mission Bay Buccaneers vs. Patrick Henry Patriots + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Mission Bay will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Patrick Henry Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mission Bay is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Mission Bay proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 35) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over Montgomery. The 21-point effort marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Trey Arnold continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 188 yards and two TDs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patrick Henry). They really took it to Mt. Carmel for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-16 win. The Patriots not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 52-8).

Mission Bay better focus on containing Calvin Glenn and Madin Gardini as the pair were huge in Patrick Henry's win. Glenn gained 262 total yards and three touchdowns, while Gardini rushed for 72 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries. With that strong performance, Glenn is now averaging an impressive 151 rushing yards per game.

Patrick Henry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Mission Bay's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Patrick Henry, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Mission Bay couldn't quite get it done against Patrick Henry when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 24-13. Can the Buccaneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
