Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Central Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

If Keene Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Seton Catholic Central, they should've done a better job of containing Dayline Willette. The Seton Catholic Central Knights were the clear victor by a 40-17 margin over the Keene Central Beavers on Tuesday thanks in part to Willette, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Those 15 points gave her a new career-high.

Seton Catholic Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.5 points per game. As for Keene Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Seton Catholic Central is taking a road trip to take on Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seton Catholic Central's defense has only allowed 25.7 points per game this season, so Lake Placid's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Keene Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th.
