The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Frankie Raines Jr, who went 8 for 20 to rack up 18 points along with seven boards and six steals. The match was his sixth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Wooten, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Even though they lost, Stratford Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and John Milledge Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on First Presbyterian Day with a sharp 57-36 victory on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

John Milledge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Stratford Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
