Basketball Recap: Dodson Comes Up Short

Dodson lost against Circle back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dodson Coyotes had to suffer through a 97-49 loss at the hands of the Circle Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Wildcats are ranked ninth).

Dodson's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Circle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Dodson will square off against Scobey/Opheim at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scobey/Opheim will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Dodson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Circle, they will face off against Wolf Point at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Circle is facing Wolf Point at the right time seeing as Wolf Point is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
