Recap: Tintic Miners vs. Intermountain Christian Lions
The Tintic Miners lost against the Intermountain Christian Lions back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tintic lost to Intermountain Christian on the road by a decisive 42-24 margin. Tintic has struggled against Intermountain Christian recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Miners players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Conder, who scored 7 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikenzie Brunson, who scored 8 points.
Tintic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Intermountain Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tintic will face off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Intermountain Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Maeser Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maeser Prep Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
