Softball Recap: Daleville Drops Season-High Score on Houston County

Daleville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 20-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston County Lions. One positive for the Warhawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Daleville's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Houston County, with the win, they broke their 20-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Daleville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ashford at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. After both having extra time off, Houston County and Ariton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 31st.
