Basketball Recap: Inglewood's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to 16

Inglewood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Westlake Warriors by a score of 80-69 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Sentinels, who have now won 16 games in a row.

Jason Crowe Jr was his usual excellent self, going 15-for-26 on his way to 40 points along with eight boards and three steals. His evening made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Parker Jefferson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Inglewood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Inglewood pushed their record up to 28-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. As for Westlake, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-10.

Coming up, Inglewood will face off against Windward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Windward's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matches. Westlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
