Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Wins Going Away Against ALA - Anthem South

Valley Christian had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt ALA - Anthem South on Tuesday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Valley Christian was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-15.

Austin Moskop was a one-man wrecking crew as he had ten aces. Those ten aces gave him a new career-high. Ivann Detruz also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Moskop wasn't the only good server: Valley Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Valley Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for ALA - Anthem South, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
