Soccer Game Preview: Apple Valley vs. Burroughs

The Apple Valley Sun Devils will square off against the Burroughs Burros at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Apple Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Burroughs will be coming in after a defeat.

Apple Valley's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Hesperia. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sun Devils.

Emmanuel Ramirez and Jorge Valle scored both of Apple Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Burroughs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to Oak Hills. The Burros were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Apple Valley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8-4. As for Burroughs, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-2.
