Football Recap: Snowflake Starts Season with Victory Against Coconino + How To Watch

Snowflake had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 28-23 victory over the Coconino Panthers.

Brenner Green was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Those 164 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Christian Smith also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against ALA - West Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coconino, they will welcome St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
