Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Lions vs. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights
Unity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights and fell 60-29. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.
Leading Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond to victory were Morgan Casteel and Sophie Monts. Casteel went 7 of 13 on her way to 20 points, while Monts dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Casteel a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Romine, who posted five points and eight boards.
