Softball Recap: Eunice Wins Going Away Against Lagrange

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Eunice and LaGrange, and Eunice kept the tradition alive. The Eunice Bobcats blew past the LaGrange Gators 19-4 on Thursday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

Eunice is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. LaGrange is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Eunice has already played their next contest (against Midland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for LaGrange, they will head out on the road to challenge DeRidder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LaGrange has given up an average of 19.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
