Basketball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown was the 59-29 winner over Plainville when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Middletown Blue Dragons took a 55-38 bruising from the Plainville Blue Devils on Tuesday. The Blue Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Plainville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Middletown will be playing at home against Wethersfield at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainville, they will face off against Platt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Plainville is facing Platt at the right time seeing as Platt is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
