Basketball Game Preview: Horton Chargers vs. Jackson Heights Cobras

Horton and Jackson Heights are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another on Friday. Horton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Two weeks ago, Horton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Oskaloosa, but they still walked away with a 48-43 win. The 48-point effort marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Jackson Heights posted their biggest victory since February 2nd two weeks ago. They blew past McLouth 53-20. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

Horton pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Jackson Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Horton strolled past Jackson Heights in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 48-30. Does Horton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jackson Heights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
