Baseball Recap: Ashville Takes a Loss

Ashville entered their contest against Guntersville on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ashville Bulldogs lost 19-5 to the Guntersville Wildcats.

Ashville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Palmer, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. Justin Henderson was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Ashville's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Guntersville, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Guntersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dadeville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Dadeville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
