Volleyball Game Preview: Durango Demons vs. Alamosa Mean Moose + How To Watch

The Durango Demons will venture away from home to face off against the Alamosa Mean Moose at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Durango came up short against Montrose and fell 3-1. The Demons have struggled against the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Alamosa entered their tilt with Bayfield on Saturday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Wolverines 3-0.

While Alamosa won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 27-25.

Alamosa's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Durango, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Durango came out on top in a nail-biter against Alamosa in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Mean Moose's Addison Rice, who had 22 digs and four assists. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Demons still be able to contain Rice? There's only one way to find out.
