Softball Recap: Pike County Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Phelps last Monday, Pike County Central came back down to earth. The Hawks came up short against the Johnson Central Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 14-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Pike County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-24-1. As for Johnson Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Pike County Central nor Johnson Central have any future games scheduled.
