Volleyball Game Preview: Modoc Braves vs. Mt. Shasta Bears + How To Watch

The Modoc Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Mt. Shasta Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Modoc is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since August 25th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to Etna. The shutout was out of character for the Braves seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Modoc took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Mt. Shasta entered their tilt with Fall River on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bears not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Mt. Shasta never let Fall River on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.

Mt. Shasta's win bumped their record up to 15-5-2. As for Modoc, they now have a losing record of 10-11-2.

Modoc couldn't quite get it done against Mt. Shasta when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
