Basketball Game Preview: Parke Heritage Wolves vs. Zionsville Eagles

Two dominant guards in Emma Simpson and Mckenzie Chapman are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Parke Heritage Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Zionsville Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Parke Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Parke Heritage against Covington as the team secured a 64-26 victory. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Trojans are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Simpson, who went 10 for 17 en route to 25 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024. Addilee Dawn Jenkins was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.

Parke Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Zionsville lost to Noblesville on the road by a 54-35 margin on Friday.

Zionsville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Parke Heritage, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-3.
