South won the last time they faced Heights and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons.

The victory didn't come easy: Heights scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Delaney Harris paced South's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Sophie Daily and her seven assists. Daily also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elysse Wisker, each putting up four.

South's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 19-13. As for Heights, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-23.

South has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Junction City on the 14th. As for Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Nickerson on the 11th.
