Volleyball Recap: Oakland Takes a Loss

Oakland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Marin Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marin Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Oakland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Deer Valley on the 6th. As for Marin Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pittsburg on the 6th.
