Basketball Recap: Matawan Regional Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Matawan Regional can now relate to. They came up short against the Westampton Tech Panthers on Wednesday, falling 54-33. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Panthers are ranked 34th).

Matawan Regional's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Westampton Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
