Softball Recap: St. Francis Borgia Knights vs. Washington Bluejays
If St. Francis Borgia was feeling good fresh off their 10-1 takedown of St. Joseph's Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Francis Borgia Knights fell 5-1 to the Washington Bluejays on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bluejays recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
St. Francis Borgia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Averi Glosemeyer, who went 1-for-3 with a triple.
St. Francis Borgia's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Washington, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-9-1.
As of now, neither St. Francis Borgia nor Washington have any future games scheduled.
