Powdersville had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt St. Joseph's Catholic on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past the Knights 12-1. Considering the Patriots have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ellison Wood was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tenleigh Davis, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Powdersville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .303 or higher in nine consecutive matches.

The victory got Powdersville back to even at 6-6. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Coming up, Powdersville will head out on the road to square off against Travelers Rest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they will be playing at home against Palmetto at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
