Meanwhile, St. Croix Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by St. Croix Lutheran and fell 82-43. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Maranatha Christian Academy's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for St. Croix Prep, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-3.

Everything came up roses for Maranatha Christian Academy against St. Croix Prep when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 98-64 win.
