Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wayzata couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Hopkins Royals on the road by a 74-60 margin on Thursday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Wayzata's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Hopkins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.
