Volleyball Recap: Father McGivney Catholic Takes a Loss

Father McGivney Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Tolono Unity Rockets.

Mia Lieberman paced Father McGivney Catholic's offense, picking up five kills. Lieberman got some help from Grace Nesbit and her 11 assists. Emerson Isringhousen and Dia Villhard kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Father McGivney Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-2. As for Tolono Unity, they moved to 10-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Father McGivney Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tolono Unity, they will square off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
