After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saginaw, Granbury was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Azle Hornets a 2-0 shutout. That two goal margin sets a new team best for the Pirates this season.

Granbury's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Azle, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15.
