With a playoff win on the line, Riverton Parke rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Clinton Prairie Gophers. Considering the Panthers have won 22 matches by more than nine  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jayleigh Inman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Inman was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  triple. She is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Lizzy Leitgabel was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylee Jukes, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 Riverton Parke was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .406 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
Riverton Parke is  on a roll lately: they've  won 19 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Clinton Prairie,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 19-9 record.
 Coming up, Riverton Parke will square off against North Newton at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Panthers 2.3, the Spartans 2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Clinton Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
