League recap: Carlton breaks off league-leading run for Harrells Christian Academy

NCISAA Big East recap November 19, 2013

Zack Carlton of Harrells Christian Academy ran for the longest rushing play in NCISAA Big East this season against Christ School last week. Carlton's team topped the Greenies as he sprinted for 88 yards on the play and finished with 189 in all.

Harrells Christian Academy moved up to 195 from 235 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Brian Aldridge's team climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Christ School 57-20.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's Richard Landis and Daniel Rose led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Landis has thrown for 1,883 yards this season, while Rose has 79 catches for 1,041 yards. Sammy Dixon from the Crusaders leads the league in rushing with 1,362 yards.

Harrells Christian Academy took down Mark Moroz's team 57-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Carlton ran for 189 yards in the win.
