Baseball Recap: Doddridge County Comes Up Short

Doddridge County lost against Philip Barbour back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Colts by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Doddridge County's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Philip Barbour, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doddridge County will face off against Grafton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Philip Barbour, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Braxton County at 5:30 p.m.
