Hancock's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Long Beach Bearcats by a score of 1-0. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Long Beach, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing George County the next time they take the pitch. Long Beach will head out to face George County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hancock will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
