Soccer Game Preview: Wesleyan Christian Academy vs. Ravenscroft

The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans will take on the Ravenscroft Ravens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wesleyan Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ravenscroft fell victim to North Raleigh Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Ravenscroft's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Wesleyan Christian Academy beat Ravenscroft 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Wesleyan Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ravenscroft turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
