Basketball Recap: Hathaway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kaplan last Thursday, Hathaway came back down to earth. The Hathaway Hornets were beaten by the Vermilion Catholic Eagles 78-42 on Friday.

Hathaway has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Vermilion Catholic, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Hathaway will take on Welsh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vermilion Catholic, they will square off against Lake Arthur at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
