            Volleyball Recap: Sandia Matadors vs. Capital Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            Sandia was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital Jaguars. The Matadors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won  3-0.
 Sandia started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-23, 25-17,  25-20.
Sandia's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Capital, their victory  ended  a  five-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-15.
 Sandia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Manzano on the 30th. As for Capital, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  defeat against La Cueva on the 30th.
