SoCal Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Christ School Greenies by a score of 62-60. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 39th in California, while the Greenies are ranked first in North Carolina).

It was another big night for Zymicah Wilkins, who shot 41% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals for Christ School. What's more, Wilkins also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Madden Collins was another key player, putting up nine points.

SoCal Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Christ School, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

SoCal Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-55 loss against Patrick School on the 7th. As for Christ School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-58 defeat against Utah Prep on the 7th.
