Softball Recap: Brushton-Moira Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tupper Lake, Brushton-Moira was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heuvelton Central Bulldogs, sneaking past 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since May 1, 2024.

Brushton-Moira let Paige Johnson and Aryiah Clark run wild. Johnson got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Clark went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Clark's first of the season. Samantha Dabiew was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
