Hampden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 42-20 to the Old Town Coyotes. On the bright side, the 20- point performance marked the Broncos' highest-scoring game to date.

Hampden's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Old Town, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hampden is set to face off against their familiar foe Foxcroft Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Old Town will challenge rival Nokomis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
